SonicVision at American Museum of Natural History – Friday, March 12
WOW, do we love the American Museum of Natural History or what? Their exhibitions, art collections and shows are truly spectacular and not to be missed! If you’re still looking for something noteworthy to do this upcoming Friday, then look no further! Head to the Museum to catch SonicVision: How Do You See Your Music at 7:30 or 8:30 pm (the next show won’t take place till April 9 so this could be your only chance!).
So with the help of the one and only Moby and MTV2, the AMNH has launched a super revolutionary and innovative music dreamscape that’s all been digitally animated and beamed onto the interior of the planetarium’s dome. The alternative music mix created by the brilliant Moby (forgive us, we simply cannot say enough good thing about this AWESOME New Yorker and his inspiring music!) features tracks from such incredible artists as Radiohead, U2, David Bowie, Coldplay, Queens of the Stone Age, Prodigy, The Flaming Lips, Fischerspooner, Spiritualized, Audioslave, Stereolab, Boards of Canada, David Byrne and Brian Eno, Goldfrapp, Zwan, White Zombie and Moby of course (duh)! Seriously, what more can you ask for?!
So if you’re ready to experience some hard-core alternative visual show and next-gneration computer technology as it illuminates the Planetarium’s dome with gorgeous colors, then this is the place to visit this Friday!
